Marty Sumichrast is a Manager of Stone Street Partners, LLC where he is responsible for the overall management and strategic initiatives of all special purpose and private equity funds of the firm. Marty has also co-authored two books; Opportunities in Financial Careers and The New Complete Book of Home Buying, both published by Dow Jones Irving Books. He also is a recognized contributor to popular financial market sites such as TheStreet, SeekingAlpha and has been quoted in many national forums, such as CNN.com. Marty received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland.
Dawn King serves as Chief Financial Officer of Stone Street Partners, LLC where she is responsible for the firm’s financial control management and oversees general financial operations. Dawn has over 20 years of financial, regulatory and business expertise. She also serves as the Chief Compliance Officer. In addition to her financial role, she oversees the communication and disclosure requirements of the firm with regard to the activities of its funds. Dawn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte.
Cassie Garrett serves as the firm’s Special Projects Manager and executive assist to the Vice Chairman. She brings over 10 years of diverse project management, business operations and special events planning expertise to the Stone Street Partners team. Prior to joining the firm Cassie was the director of marketing at Mathews Motor Company and sales executive for Edge Marketing & Entertainment.Her various duties and roles in those companies spanned from project coordination, personnel management, communications planning of televised events to market and advertising strategies for specific product promotions.
